Event Venues in Newberg, Oregon
The Hudson Bay company set up a European settlement for trappers in Champoeg, just Southeast of Newberg in 1843. Farmers and pioneers soon settled the area and Newberg was given its name in 1863. Newberg is a pretty area for events with wineries, agricultural areas and lovely views. Nearby attractions include Champoeg Park and the Herbert Hoover House Museum. More information on Newberg.

The Tilikum Retreat Center includes 92 acres with meadows, lakes and hiking trails surrounded by hazelnut orchards and vineyards. Tilikum makes an ideal location for retreats, reunions and other events. The Fawver Center seats up to 100 and has a climbing wall, volleyball, fire-pits, a kitchenette, a BBQ, and a nearby canoe landing area. The Retreat Center with lodging for up to 60 guests and two meeting rooms, and Northridge with tents with 56 bunk beds are also available to rent for groups. Catering is available.

The garden features a large Gazebo draped in vines overlooking the water. The Water Oasis is a beautiful location for weddings and other events. The Oasis offers catering, tables and chairs and wedding coordination. A large tent is available for receptions.

The Yamhill Grill has banquet facilities that make an ideal location for all sorts of events. The banquet room can accommodate up to 150 people or 70 people for a buffet or seated meal. An outdoor patio is also available which can accommodate up to 40 seated or 100 standing for informal events.
