1549 El Prado, San Diego
Balboa Park is a 1,000 acre park that includes the San Diego Zoo, museums, gardens, a sports complex, picnic areas, and more. There are many spaces available for events at the park. Casa del Prado has a theater that seats events with up to 640 people, the Majorca Room that accommodates up to 300 people, and classrooms that accommodate between 66 and 210 people. Casa del Prado’s Patio A accommodates ceremonies with up to 200 people, and Casa del Prado’s Patio B accommodates ceremonies with up to 300 people. Balboa Park Club has a 13,000 square feet ballroom that accommodates up to 500 people and the Santa Fe Room that accommodates up to 125 people. The War Memorial Building has an auditorium that accommodates up to 300 people and classrooms that accommodate up to 75 people. The Palisades Building has a 5,400 square feet Recital Hall that accommodates up to 300 people. Park Boulevard and Presidents Way Lawn is a large lawn that accommodates events with up to 5,000 people. Spreckels Organ Pavilion features the world’s largest outdoor pipe organ and bench seating for up to 2,400 people. Pepper Grove is a picnic area that accommodates up to 500 people with 15 tables and a playground. The Administration Courtyard Lawn is a lawn area with a fountain that is available for ceremonies with up to 200 people. Marston Point and Redwood Circle each have large lawn area that accommodate up to 200 people. Golden Hill Community Park and Pine Grove each have picnic areas that accommodate up to 100 people. Zoro Garden is available for ceremonies with up to 75 people. Alcazar Garden and the Rose Garden are available for ceremonies with up to 50 people each.
Border Field State Park

Cabrillo National Monument

Cabrillo National Monument is located on the San Diego coast. The Bluff Event Site at the park is a lovely setting for wedding ceremonies and other events with up to 100 people.
Cleveland National Forest

Cleveland National Forest includes over 460,000 acres with trails and campgrounds. Special use permits are available for events in the forest.

Embarcadero Marina Parks North has basketball courts, gazebos, and a fishing pier. The park is available for weddings, picnics, and other events with up to 3,000 people.

2454 Heritage Park Row, San Diego
Heritage Park is a 7.8 acre park which was created to preserve some of Old Town San Diego’s historic Victorian buildings. The park’s 1889 Temple Beth Israel and the open lawn are available for weddings and other events.
Japanese Friendship Garden

The Japanese Friendship Garden is located in San Diego’s Balboa Park. The garden provides a beautiful setting for weddings and other events. The Ceremonial Gate and the Ceremonial Plaza areas each accommodate up to 200 people. The Exhibit House accommodates up to 50 people.
Mission Bay Park

Crown Point North accommodates up to 200 people and 1 inflatable. Ski Beach accommodates up to 350 people and 2 inflatables and has a picnic shelter, a jogging path, and a playground. Playa Pacifica accommodates up to 300 people and has a picnic shelter, basketball courts, and a tot lot. West Bonita Cove accommodates up to 250 people and 2 inflatables and has a large playground and a tot lot. East Bonita Cove accommodates up to 200 people and 2 inflatables. Hospitality Point accommodates up to 250 people and 2 inflatables and has picnic tables, a picnic shelter, and jogging trails. Mariner’s Point is a sandy peninsula that accommodates up to 200 people. Vacation Isle East and West each accommodate up to 200 people and 1 inflatable and both have picnic tables and beaches. Ventura Cove accommodates up to 200 people and has picnic tables and benches. Mission Point and Sunset Point each accommodate up to 150 people. Tecolote Shores North and the grass area at the Model Yacht Pond each accommodate up to 100 people and 1 inflatable.
