There are many convention, conference, and event centers in Pasadena which primarily serve as event venues. These facilities vary from renovated historic homes and ballrooms to large multi-room conventions centers.

Castle Green

Castle Green is a historic castle built in 1898 as an elegant resort. The castle features Moorish, Turkish, and Victorian salons, a ballroom, and private gardens. The castle is available for weddings, parties, and other events. The castle’s ballroom accommodates receptions with up to 425 people or seated meals with up to 220 people.

The Fuller Guest and Conference Center

The Fuller Guest and Conference Center offers lodging and event space for the Fuller Theological Seminary. Spaces are available at the Center for weddings, retreats, conferences, and other events.

The Gamble House

The Gamble House is a historic American Arts and Crafts style house built in 1908. The house offers spaces for meetings, retreats, and picnics. The rear terrace and garden accommodate up to 300 people. The gallery accommodates up to 60 people. The third floor attic accommodates up to 25 people. The Gamble House can not accommodate weddings, birthday, graduation, or retirement parties, or political or religious events.

The Pasadena Convention Center offers spaces for all sorts of events. The dividable 55,000 square feet Exhibit Hall accommodates up to 5,400 people or 334 8×10 booths. The dividable 25,000 square feet Ballroom accommodates up to 3,120 people. The Exhibit Hall and the Ballroom can be combined to create an 80,000 square feet space for large events. The 28,000 square feet Conference Center has conference rooms ranging from 336 to 7,482 square feet. The Civic Auditorium is a 3,000 seat performance hall. The Auditorium’s Gold Room accommodates banquets with up to 250 people.

The Western Justice Foundation offers the historic Mediterranean Italianate Revival-style Maxwell House for weddings and other events. The house’s 1,000 square feet main room accommodates up to 100 guests. The 800 square feet dining room accommodates up to 18 people. The 500 square feet library accommodates up to 10 people. The outdoor courtyard accommodates up to 150 people.

San Jose has several event and convention centers including single and multiple rooms facilities which can accommodate all sorts of events.

The Corinthian Grand Ballroom is located in an impressive 1924 building in downtown San Jose. The Grand Ballroom features 60’ceilings with crystal chandeliers, a granite balcony, and 30’ palm trees. The Grand Ballroom accommodates up to 600 people for standing events or 300 people for seated events. The Phoenix Lounge is available for events with up to 120 people. The Gold, Silver, and Bronze Rooms are available for events with up to 40 people each. The Olympia and Decathlon Rooms are also available for events.

Fallon House and Garden is a historic house located in downtown San Jose. The grounds are available for events with up to 300 people. The meeting room accommodates up to 60 people for standing events or 30 people for conferences. The dining room accommodates up to 20 people.

Napredak Hall is available for weddings, receptions, banquets, parties, and other events. The San Diego Room accommodates up to 80 guests. The Center’s Lawn is available for ceremonies with up to 80 guests.

The conference center offers overnight accommodations for up to 3,000 people.

San Francisco offers a wide variety event and convention centers ranging from large modern convention centers to retrofitted historic buildings. These facilities primary function is to host events including conventions, trade shows, meetings, weddings, parties, and banquets.

Dogpatch Studios serves as a film studio and event venue. The three story venue has been used for commercials, music videos, photo sessions, awards dinners, product launches, and parties. The 4,500 square feet first floor features a commercial kitchen, a barrel ceiling, and a roll door allowing vehicle access. The first floor can accommodate up to 400 people standing or up to 200 people for seated meals. The 1,300 square feet second floor features bamboo flooring and a kitchenette. The second floor can accommodate up to 105 people standing or up to 55 people for seated events. The 1,800 square feet third floor features bamboo flooring, a large patio, and a kitchenette. The third floor can accommodate up to 105 people standing or up to 55 people for seated events.

The Meeting and Banquet Space (Hall E) rooms 130 to 135 total 37,355 square feet and accommodates up to 4,924 people. The Gateway Ballroom, rooms 102 to 104, totals 24,825 square feet and accommodates up to 2,960 people. The North Upper Lobby is 15,300 square feet. The South Upper Lobby is 13,500 square feet. The North Meeting Space rooms 120 to 125 total 10,790 square feet and accommodate up to 1,356 people. Individual rooms range from 1,020 to 1,820 square feet. The Swing Space includes four rooms ranging from 4,035 to 4,485 square feet. The Mezzanine Level includes 30+ rooms ranging from 285 to 3,545 square feet.
